The piece is a part of a series of illustrations I did as my graduation project; Delirious State of Mind. It is a character illustration of the tarot card Justice, the eleventh card of the major arcana.
It was made on an ipad using the program Procreate and an apple pen.

The illustration depicts the character Lorian Drevorak, a physical embodiment of Scopophobia belonging to the Court Nightingale, set in one of my written settings which has simply just been named “Delirium”.
-Behind you, the eyes start to form rapidly, outlining the form of a tall, horned figure. You can feel its presence, but the terror that keeps you petrified prevents you from turning around. The only thing you see is a wicked red grin in the mirror opposite you in the room- but then everything goes quiet.

“The False Dragon”

The piece was made using a Wacom Intuos drawing board and the program Clip Studio Paint.

The drawing is of a creature named Found, an alien, bird-like scientist who then experimented on himself in order to become what he is now, a false dragon.
The character belongs to a writing setting called Step-Down, and belongs to two dear friends of mine.

My idea for the piece was to experiment with high-contrast, black shading, and almost flat colors in whatever was left uncolored.
There were a few alternate version, but this is the final edition.

An acrylic piece depicting the character Legion Bladeward, the incarnation of Justice. He is half-skeletal, but the flowers symbolize growth, potential, and hope. They are not based on a particular species.
The piece itself is done with a lot of rougher brushes and even a toothbrush, finished with many layers of washes both on the back-and foreground.

Born from the blood of wounded soldiers, forged with the fires of the sun. The balance between the good and the unjust, the imperfections and the chains that hold the check.
Burn, and burn bright, o soldier of the sun, carry your woes to your grave which you have dug yourself.

A painting that was inspired by short story which I wrote under the same title. The story tells tale of the knight Lorian and his companion Vesper, and their sufferings on the battlefield.

The painting itself was done in my spare time, but displayed at a school exhibit as I was otherwise unable to bring the painting I was supposed to display.

“Did you learn nothing of Nightmares? We do not die in the sense that you agents do. We may be broken, but we are still here. It is merely going to take me a while to get back on my feet.”
Holding them a little tighter, he added; “Although I’m afraid you won’t be here with me to see that day.”
Looking up to the blood-red sky, he scoffed to himself. How fitting, the colours. A grey for the smoke of fire, and a red for the blood watering the grounds.
“But as for Estenneth Avon, I will come for you and all that you love, if there even is anything at all which isn’t yourself. There is not a place in this realm in which you can run from me, for nothing can quench the hatred of one’s nightmares, of one’s fears. Everything has its saviour and its doom and I will be your downfall, my fair Lady.”
